My sister, mother and I spent the day in Paris Missouri antiquing at their annual sale. It was fabulous. We found several seed sacks, flour sacks, aprons and mattress ticking to deconstruct and make into these wonderful bags. The leather handles are 100% made in the USA and can be purchased from Homestead Handles. It is my parents business, so needless to say, I am an insider :)
Arcus translates into Arrow- this is our mark and can be found on the front of our bags, hammered into the leather tag.
We can take special orders at any time, and will begin working with leather hides to make leather bags.
The above selection of bags is a small sample of what we have available. Prices depend on the amount of leather and hardware used, the cost of the vintage supplies and the labor put into creating the bag. The bags in the pictures range from $35 - $70, chicken not included. ;)
