I can't even begin to tell you how long I've been looking for the perfect bookcase. I found an antique bookcase earlier this year at the flea market, but of course we were in the Jeep so we had NO way of hauling it... I regret passing it up. I would have LOVED to alter the look of it by wallpapering the backing.
Lately I've been obsessed with vintage glassware. But I haven't quite branched out to plates or platters. I am a sucker for coffee cups and mixing bowls. The next auction I go to I will be sure to keep an eye out for plates- you can do so much with them! Use them for their intended purpose, or decorate! (By the way, I love this gold hand on the trunk- I found a white porcelain hand that was once used as a glove mold. Its a size 7! It is currently on my dresser, holding my braclets and rings. Its lovely.
Luggage! I love the look- and I have the perfect corner that would fit several chic vintage luggage cases. I've seen this almost everywhere, but has been difficult finding several peices at a decent price. Must keep looking! This collection is used as a foundation for a table- Genius!
These small cases- most likely typewriter cases are adorable on this bench-turned-to-shelf. Another great idea! Thanks Apartment Therapy!
I do not like the wicker furniture. But love the colors and the luggage of course!
This is how I would use them- a collection of old, worn luggage cases complete with a few books and a unique trinket- a small female bust.
Obsessed with this picture. Everything here is perfect.
This too is an interesting idea. As a beginner seamstress, I have several scraps of patterned fabric that could easily be put on the embroidery frames to create wall hangings. The patterns here are amazing.
I must try this with some of my fathers extra deer antlers. I'm not quite sure what I would do with it... Maybe it hang it on the wall, or have it sitting on top of a few books on a shelf... but its interesting.
