Oi Duck!

I welcome change, I'm all about new (good) experiences. Whoever said "Mistakes make for the best stories"? BBaah. (I've made a few, and do have some really good stories- but that is neither here nor there.)

After the staging party I went out with a friend- I owed him dinner. Again- I repeat- I will NOT say NO if it doesn't endanger my life or others. I've been on a pretty straight path when it comes to food, nothing uber interesting. Well last night, I had my first Vietnamese Dinner at Grand Pho. A three course meal comprised of Summer Rolls, DUCK leg soup, and a Campfire for two (every kind of meat and seafood imaginable- chicken, pork, beef, squid, scallops, shrimp and crab.) So yummy, what a delight. I was very surprised with the duck, it was SO tender and delicious. I grew up on a farm, but I have never had duck! Wow I was missing out!
Grand Pho was phenomenal.

  1. Wow! You are much more adventurous than me when it comes to food! If it's not a different kind of meat I'll usually try new things - but new meat. No thanks. I like beef, chicken and pork. :)

    Glad you enjoyed it!!

Ms Madelyn would LOVE to hear from you!
