I had a lovely dinner last night at Carmine's with my good friend Rande. Of course we had the most 'interesting' conversation, as usual. But it seemed to go so well with dinner. We started off the evening with a Spa Spritzer and a glass of Malbec. The first course consisted of Oysters Romanoff and Toasted Ravioli. Second course of Scallops Puma and a medium rare 12 oz Ribeye. For dessert I had chocolate mousse and Rande chose the mascarpone with strawberries. A very successssssssful dinner indeed.
Now- lets take a step back. The Oysters... never have I ever... swallowed something so... something... The question still remains: "Do I chew it?"
Can someone please help? It was a mouth full of cold slime... But the Caviar was DELICIOUS. Must have this at our next winery trip. The caviar 'popped' in my mouth, had a great taste, was quite pleasant.
