The Emotionary

Kinda like the dictionary for emotions that you are currently feeling, often times a newly created word. Eden Sher, creator of the website The Emotionary, describes it best, "words that don't exist [to] feelings that do". Eden attempts to define every emotion she has ever felt, which she asks her friends to do the same. One example of an emotion that really struck home with me is:
 

I could write a novel on all the dates, feelings and emotions I have encountered over the past 7 days. And maybe I should... that could possibly propel me in the right direction. Oh dear friends and followers, do you want to read about them? I would call it "Dating: the good, the bad and the ugly".

Garden Love

As mentioned in the previous post, I spent a weekend away from my apartment at lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood. I absolutely adore the flower gardens and the big old trees.
I can't wait to be the owner of a fine house with lavish flower gardens all around.

Memorial Weekend

Flea Market Finds

I absolutely love trips to the flea market. If you are an avid reader you know these visits have been quite frequent in the past. I have found most of apartment furnishings at the Wentzville Flea Market. Many have become some of my most beloved treasures. I've found vintage chairs, wine racks, utensils, books, wall hangings and jadeite dishes.

This year I am on the hunt for:
1. Antique bottle drying rack. I've briefly searched etsy for similar racks below, but they are selling for $295+! I'm hoping to find one in the price range of $10-30. Wish me luck!

Birthday Week

Ah how wonderful life is.

I spent a loooong week away at a truly special place. I didn't want to leave. But life goes on, and reality floods back into our lives welcomed or not.
:)

My birthday was absolutely wonderful. Started the day off with my best friend on the last day of what seemed like vacation, had a delivery of flowers at work, a FaceTime with my BFF who sang to me, had lunch with awesome coworkers who walked around downtown to grab some grub, then had another call from my other BFF whose classroom of students sang "happy birthday". :)

It was phenomenal. I couldn't be happier. Oh and I went to playoff game two of the Kings/Blues series. Waahoo! Jackman is the man.
